Lafayette (Laff) Hughes Jr. was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Wahiawa, HI. After returning home for a few years, he decided to make a change and moved to Atlanta ,Georgia.  There he decided to chase his passion to make people laugh and began his Stand-Up Comedic journey. This journey has taken him throughout the United States, which include performances at “The Laughing Skull”, “Uptown Comedy Club”, “The Star Bar”, Atl Comedy Club and Resident at the Marietta Strand Theater. Any place that asks for laughter he will be there.  He has also been the headliner, host and Comedy competition winner at “The Punchline Comedy Club”.  In addition to stage, Lafayette has expanded his gift into the internet and film industry.  He is the founder of the “I Can Do That Too” movement by “Laff’s Place”, which is also a store online with something for fans and supporters to shop. He is also the founder of  the “Navigating the Crazy Movement“.  Where he gathers a group of clean comics to bring a live Stand up comedy show to you. Weather it is at your complex, bar, club house or place of business. He has also performed in “Chyle Mc’s” music-video on YouTube, “It’s Okay”, and a couple of stand-up performances on YouTube.  He also has a recurring role as “Selfie-Man”, in the independent film by Simboya Studios, Lunch Tales” and roles in the movie” Jack Squad 2“, as “Mack” .
