Lafayette (Laff) Hughes Jr. was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Wahiawa, HI. After returning home for a few years, he decided to make a change and moved to Austell, GA.  There he decided to chase his passion to make people laugh and began his Stand-Up Comedic journey. This journey has taken him throughout the United States, which include performances at “The Laughing Skull”, “Uptown Comedy Club”, “The Star Bar”, Atl Comedy Club and Resident at the Marietta Strand Theater. Any place that asks for laughter he will be there.  He has also been the headliner, host and Comedy competition winner at “The Punchline Comedy Club”.  In addition to stage, Lafayette has expanded his gift into the internet and film industry.  He is the founder of the “I Can Do That Too” movement by “Laff’s Place”, which is also a store online with something for fans and supporters to shop. He is the Co-founder of “The i285 Comedy Tour” presents Comedy at the crib” with comedian partner Daruleo Ledger. A group of comedians that bring live comedy to your complex or place of business for those who cannot get out. He has also performed in “Chyle Mc’s” music-video on YouTube, “It’s Okay”, and a couple of stand-up performances on YouTube.  He also has a recurring role as “Selfie-Man”, in the independent film by Simboya Studios, “Lunch Tales” and roles in the movie” Jack Squad 2″, as “Mack” .
